Employee Education

Armstrong Ambulance Training Classroom

Promoting Quality Patient Care Through Exceptional Continuing Education Opportunities.

Armstrong Ambulance understands that our service is only as strong as the capability and knowledge of our field providers. Armstrong begins the educational process through a comprehensive new employee orientation program that focuses on all of the skills necessary to care for our patients on every level, including a Coaching for the Emergency Vehicle Operator (CEVO) driving course.

The educational process continues with an extensive field training program that includes a dynamic evaluation process that includes both field training officer and field provider to ensure that all new employees possess the skills necessary to meet our high standards. The field training program also provides continued performance review to provide for continued adherence to our clinical standards.

In addition to our field training program, Armstrong provides numerous continuing education and refresher courses that allow our staff to re-certify their certification without seeking outside education. Armstrong’s Training and Education department works actively to guarantee that our field staff can provide all skills and care available to practitioners in the Commonwealth.
